Who can be a Trustee?

Is a registered band member of Wikwemikong;

Is not the incumbent Chief or a Councilor of Wikwemikong;

Is at least 18 years of age;

Is not bankrupt;

Has not been charged with or convicted of an indictable offence pursuant to the Criminal Code for theft, conversion and/or fraud, or any offence involving the Trust Property or any other trust property;

Is not mentally incompetent or incapable of managing his or her property;

Agrees that the Trustees are entitled to have a background search and agrees that the Trustees are entitled to consult with the references provided by the proposed Trustee.
